In the summer of 2007, we introduced Stepping Up, our community newsletter. Stepping Up connects our community, providing a bulletin board for events and a forum for sharing stories and celebrating our children. Our readers are the families and loved ones of people with disabilities, as well as the professionals who care for them.

We strive to bring new voices into each issue of the newsletter, soliciting articles from parents, grandparents, siblings and community partners to supplement articles by board members. We hold ourselves to a high standard of written and visual style, and have the assistance of a crew of eagle-eyed volunteers proofread each issue before it goes to press. Stepping Up serves as a valuable portfolio of our work and our community connections.
