NWDSA/ABI community member brings accessibility to the beach

Randy Anderson and his daughter Whitney have been active members of the NWDSA/ABI community for many years.

They live in Seaside, OR, which features beautiful stretches of coastline beach. Randy noticed that, while the Seaside promenade is accessible for wheelchairs, individuals with mobility challenges weren't able to experience the sand and surf up close.

Partnering with an accessibility program in Cannon Beach, Randy was able to procure three specially-made beach wheelchairs that can be used in the Seaside sand for free by beach-goers with disabilities.
